Saturday goals: Get outdoors, get refreshed, capture Autumn in Cantabria. Success? Absoluteafreakingmente.
We hiked a mountain near the Parque de las Dunas de Liencres (Paul won't explore anywhere new until he's satisfied with conquering this trail). We tried this trail last week in the rain and had to stop half way up, cross a private pasture under barbed-wire, and coerce Piérs with a donut reward to make him finish what was probably five miles of walking. So, needless to say. today was round two and we made it to the top. El Tolio is the site of medieval watch tower ruins that stretch along the top of this small mountain near the coast. The view is incredible. Also, that slug by my feet was huge.
